WHS National Art Society students participate in The Memory Project

The WHS National Art Honor Society students participated in the Memory Project facilitated by Ms. Rhodes. The Memory Project is a non-profit organization that works with art teachers and their students to create and donate portraits of youth around the world who face substantial challenges. This is an opportunity for children to feel valued and important with a piece of their personal history, while the art students practice kindness and global awareness. The art students at WHS created portraits of children from Syria and Jordan and in return, the children shared a video showing their gratitude by singing and dancing.
