Wissahickon School District Green Committee is sponsoring a shoe recycling event for the month of April. All seven schools are participating in this event to send gently used shoes around the globe to be used by others who cannot afford them. We are accepting adult and children's shoes - sneakers to high heels. They cannot have holes in the soles or have mildew. If you wish, you can put contact information in the shoe - email, home or school address, etc., and you may just find out where your shoes end up - "a message in a bottle"!
