Parent Teacher Counci
The Wissahickon Middle School Parent Teacher Council is an active, involved, and enthusiastic group of parents whose primary goal is to strengthen the partnership between home and school.
Our main purpose is to:
- Channel the energies and talents of parents into areas which will enrich the lives of our children
- Support and fund school activities and programs
- Improve communication between home and school
Parent Teacher Council meetings are held every 2 months. Our newsletter, the WMS Monthly Memo, is published and made available electronically each month of the school year. We invite the community to join and actively participate in the Wissahickon Middle School Parent Teacher Council. Please contact any Executive Board Officer or Committee Chairperson listed below to volunteer or to obtain additional information about our organization.
Box Tops and Labels for Education are also ongoing. Once again, Ms. England-Gordon will coordinate this program. Cut out designated labels (Campbell’s soups, etc.) and General Mills box tops (cereals, Betty Crocker, Pillsbury) and send into school care of Ms. England-Gordon. Thank you for supporting this program. The school receives 10 cents for every label submitted.

Prior to providing Volunteer services, each volunteer shall annually in each school in which volunteer services will be provided be required to sign a disclosure statement that they have not committed, or been convicted of any offense nor are they currently charged with any offense that is identified under Act 34, Act 151 and Act 114.
