Home and School Visitor

The Home and School Visitor is the liaison between the school district and outside agencies, such as the police departments, child welfare, alternative schools, juvenile probation and residential treatment programs. The Home and School Visitor consults and collaborates with building principals, school psychologists, guidance counselors, nurses and classroom teachers in addressing the needs of individual students with difficulties in school, absenteeism and tardiness.  The Home and School Visitor is also responsible for residential investigations.
