Home & School Association (HSA)
The LGE Home & School Association (HSA) has many wonderful activities planned for the 2012-2013 school year to enrich our children’s educational experience. There are many opportunities for parents and guardians to become involved in their child’s education through the HSA. The HSA’s operating budget, funded primarily by fall fundraising activities and family memberships, provides for activities such as student assemblies, “mini-grants” to teachers, community service projects and other spirit building activities like Books Alive, Bingo Night and Field Day.

HSA Student Directory
LGE's Student Directory is only available online this year. The secure online school directory is only viewable by LGE families and staff who have set up an online login with information provided by the HSA. (If you have not yet set up your online login, please request your personal login info. from the HSA at lowergwyneddhsa@hotmail.com.) Once you have set up your login you can access the directory any time by clicking here and a link will remain under Quick Links in all HSA emails. The online directory has a function for you to download a PDF of the directory which you can print yourself if you'd like.
If you ever need to change any of your family’s information please send corrections to the HSA, either directly from the directory site or by emailing the HSA at lowergwyneddhsa@hotmail.com, and we will make the change. (You cannot edit your own information online.)
HSA Meetings
All parents, guardians, teachers and staff members are invited to attend our Home and School Association Meetings. HSA meetings will be held one Thursday a month at 9:30am (see dates below) in the LGI Room at school. (Please don't hesitate to bring younger siblings.) If you cannot make the meetings, please put any suggestions or comments in the HSA mailbox or call/email anyone on the executive board. We appreciate any and all participation so please join us!

Trashless Tuesdays
WSD is holding a Waste-Free Lunch Day every Tuesday. Students are asked to bring lunches that include as many items as possible that can be eaten, reused, recycled, or composted and as few items as possible that must be thrown away. Click here for more Waste-Free Lunch Tips.
