Library

The Mattison Avenue Library exists for students and teachers to locate books for personal reading and to gather information from our over 8000 volumes.  It is also a place for students to learn skills necessary to navigate in our information technology-filled world.  

Library classes are 45 minutes in length, and consist of storytelling by the librarian, lessons, and book checkout.  There are three scheduled classes throughout the A and B rotations.  Kindergarten students are permitted to check out one book, while 1^st-3^rd graders may check out two books at a time.  The check-out period is for 12 school days, but books may also be returned and exchanged anytime between scheduled library classes.
