What our Staff Says

Staff Members

Wissahickon is consistently ranked as one of the top performing school districts in the state, but what makes this a special place to work and go to school is the relationships. We work hard to make sure that every student and staff member feels valued and respected.

Sarah Banaszynski

When I was applying to districts throughout the area, Wissahickon stood out to me for a few reasons. I connected with the vision of "Belong, Inspire, Engage, and Excel" and I also appreciated the emphasis on diversity and equity. Now, I enjoy working here because of the connection with my colleagues, students and the families. I feel valued because of the positive feedback I receive and it makes me want to continue working this hard to go above and beyond for my students.

Wissahickon is a diverse community, which prides itself on creating a environment in which all students and staff feel appreciated, inspired, and equipped to engage and excel. Watch the video below to learn more about the many ways we support and celebrate equity, inclusion and belonging.
