The Wissahickon Educational Opportunities Foundation (WEOF) and the Home and School Association (H&SA) for each school are valued partners with the Wissahickon School District. Through volunteerism and fundraising, these organizations provide extensive support for our academic programs, services, learning resources/equipment and school events for students and families.     

The H&SAs organize activities including Back to School Picnics, Science Night, Cultural and Performing Arts Assemblies, Art Goes to School, Book Fair, Field Day and much more! The H&SAs fund mini-grants submitted by teachers and projects/initiatives that enhance the school environment, such as new playground equipment. The officers also serve as a liaison between families and school administration/staff.

Similarly, WEOF has provided grants to our schools since 1992 including funding for academic and extracurricular programs and services ranging from technology to the arts.       

UNLESS a family chooses to opt-out of WEOF and H&SA communication, the school district will provide them a list of family email addresses at the beginning of each school year. This will allow these great educational partners to communicate important news and student/family events. 

IMPORTANT: IF YOU CHOOSE TO OPT OUT OF H&SA OR WEOF EMAILS, YOU WILL NOT BE NOTIFIED OF SCHOOL EVENTS/ACTIVITIES ORGANIZED BY THEM.
