All Wissahickon students and families are invited to submit a poetry entry to the Wissahickon Valley Public Library Poetry Contest. The theme is "Where We Belong: Celebrating the Poetry of Home." There will be a kid, teen, and adult age category with individual prizes for each age bracket. Posters with selected poems will be displayed in several Ambler storefronts during the month of April. The contest will culminate in a reading during National Poetry Month on April 26, 2025 at the Ambler Branch of WVPL. The library is partnering with Montgomery County Poet Laureate Lisa DeVuono.
