Free School Breakfast Beginning October 1, 2022

On September 9, 2022, Governor Wolf announced that Pennsylvania will make it possible for all schools participating in the School Breakfast Program to provide free breakfasts for all enrolled students in the 2022-2023 school year. Beginning October 1, 2022, Wissahickon School District will offer free breakfast to all currently enrolled students for this school year.

Families are still encouraged to complete the free/reduced price meal application because school lunches are not free for this school year. Lunch costs $2.65 for the elementary schools and $3.00 for the secondary schools (middle and high schools). For reduced-price meals, lunch costs $0.40 for all schools. A qualified application may provide additional federal program benefits. Click here to complete the application:
