District News
In the months of November and December, students and staff at our schools are actively celebrating gratitude and engaging in acts of giving back. Throughout the district, small gestures of kindness are creating waves of positivity and appreciation. We took the time to honor and express gratitude to veterans for their sacrifices, courage, and dedication to our country. Students conveyed their thanks through singing patriotic songs, reciting poetry, and creating vibrant posters and hats as part of meaningful ceremonies.
Families enjoyed breakfast together, and special guests had the opportunity to engage with the students. At BBE, we also celebrated World Kindness Day as the Student Council adorned sidewalks with uplifting messages, crafted decorated placemats for members of the elderly community, and collaboratively created a kindness paper chain to display in the school.
Recognizing that generosity is a positive force for mental health and overall well-being, assisting others has brought profound joy and satisfaction to our community. These acts of kindness foster a sense of compassion and connection to the world around us. The picture below showcases placements made by BBE students for elderly members of our community. As we approach the winter holidays, Wiss Nation is committed to continuing the spirit of sharing and embracing the joy of giving back.
