E.A.T. For Healthier Sleep
E.A.T. for healthier sleep! Just like the quality of your sleep impacts your food choices during the day, your eating habits impact your sleep at night.
- Embrace breakfast: food in the morning helps your body know it's time to wake up. Eat a healthy breakfast around the same time each morning to jumpstart your day.
- Aim for a balanced diet: healthy dietary habits help your body get the vitamins and minerals it needs to thrive, including those that can promote better sleep.
- Timing matters: eat your meals at consistent times throughout the day to strengthen your body's internal clock. Avoid caffeine at least 8 hours before bedtime. Don't eat heavy meals, spicy dishes, or sugary snacks 2-3 hours before bedtime.
Establishing healthy sleep and nutrition habits helps you be the best version of you!
