The Wissahickon Board of School Directors approved the Health and Safety Plan and Instructional Program Plan on Monday, July 19, 2021 during a Special Public Meeting. For the 2021-2022 school year, students and their families may choose one (1) of the following instructional program options: In-Person Option OR Wissahickon Virtual Academy Option. Students and their families will have ONE (1) opportunity to change their program preference when the transition window opens in January 2022. All students will be enrolled in the in-person option unless they choose to complete the WVA Program Selection Form below.
WVA Program Selection Form, Grades K-12 – Submission deadline is Friday, July 30, 2021 at 12:00 p.m.
The Wissahickon Virtual Academy (WVA) is open to all students in grades K-12. Students/families who seek a virtual program option for the 2021-2022 school year should enroll in the Wissahickon Virtual Academy. Please note that WVA virtual instruction will be different from what it was during the 2020-2021 school year in that the teachers will not be WSD employees. WVA instruction is prepared and delivered by teachers at the Montgomery Virtual Program, which is provided through the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit. Please complete the form below to enroll your student for WVA in fall 2021. Students and their families will have ONE (1) opportunity to change their program preference when the transition window opens in January 2022. Please complete this form for each student in your household who will enroll in WVA.
