Thank you to all of our parents, students and staff who tuned in to watch the School Board meeting on Monday night and the continuation of the meeting into Wednesday evening. Last night, the School Board voted to approve the Fall Reopening Teaching and Learning Plan (see below link). On Monday, the school board also approved the Wissahickon High School Athletic Department Health and Safety Plan (Phase I) and the Wissahickon School District PDE Health and Safety Plan for the 2020-2021 School Year – both of these are required documents and will be sent to the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
Please refer to the following links for specific details on the elementary and secondary Teaching and Learning program options and FAQ from our principals related to the health and safety plans and other building/program specific information. Additionally, principals will be reaching out over the next few days with more details of what reopening will look like (building-specific).

We encourage you to closely review our reopening materials to help your family decide which program option will work best for your family. Later today, families will receive an email with a link to a Virtual Program Selection survey. This survey should ONLY be completed if, and only if, you are selecting a virtual option. All other students will be enrolled in the in-person option for elementary schools or the hybrid option for grades 6 to 12. The survey will close on Friday, July 31st at noon.
We know there will still be many questions out there, even after consulting the above resources. In order to get them answered as quickly and specifically as possible, and in order for everyone to be as informed as possible before making the above program choice, please email your child’s principal for any specific questions you may have:
